Latin America. HDBaseT technology has promoted a revolution in professional audiovisual systems since its introduction in 2010. The HDBaseT standard specification 2.0 is now being incorporated into commercial products.
Today, the standard allows the transmission of 4K resolution video, multichannel audio, control signals, Ethernet, USB and up to 100W of power through a single UTP cable of up to 100 meters, or fiber optics for greater distances.
For professionals of the Latin AV industry to learn more about the subject, next Wednesday, October 7, InfoComm International will hold a webinar on Specification 2.0 of the Standard HDBaseT, at 1:30 p.m. in Santiago, Chile.
In this presentation, Roberto Saidon, Electronic Engineer at the Polytechnic School of USP (Brazil), will present the main novelties of the 2.0 specification, and what it means for the audiovisual market.
The engineer Roberto Saidon has a Postgraduate Degree in Advertising and Marketing from the ESPM. He has extensive experience working in the areas of Product Development, Industrial, Commercial and Marketing, in the information technology (hardware and software) and Microelectronics sectors. He works in the development, dissemination and awareness of HDBaseT technology for Latin America.
