Latin America, a market to be exploited

Hello everyone, it is a pleasure to greet you again.

A few years ago the percentage of sales of the different manufacturers of audio, video and lighting systems in Latin America was scarce, it did not exceed 1.5% of the annual records of the companies, and not to mention the percentage destined to investments in the region; however, North America and Europe took the big numbers in all respects.

Today the situation has been changing, although North America and Europe continue to be important, we can say that there are other regions in the world that are gaining ground in all sectors, especially in the technological field such as Asia Pacific and Latin America.

The percentages of sales in Latin America may not exceed 3% of the total sales in the world of any company, but that number reflects how the market is evolving in the region and how different companies can enter to play in it.

Let's be honest, six or seven years ago all the advertising we saw in shopping centers, airports, stadiums, universities was made in buses, billboards or banners, today we see it on digital signage screens. Previously the churches did not think about installing invisible audio systems or making acoustic conditioning and much less installing luminaires that consume less energy, but today all this is a reality and we know that it will continue to grow because Latin America is for the different companies a virgin market, which requires a lot of technology and infrastructure and that is where distributors, integrators, installers and all industry players are part of a transformation that will bring excellent systems and technologies to the region.

My proposal is that we unite and show our end users the importance of new technologies, so I invite you to reguemos the voice and summon your different customers to visit TecnoMultimedia InfoComm to know the news that the AVI industry has for Latin America, on November 9 and 10 in Plaza Mayor, Medellin, Colombia.
