Latin America. Latin Press, Inc., our publishing house, launches ConsorcioTec, a procurement group for contractors and integrators working in the low-voltage sector for the building automation, security, multimedia, networking and communications sectors.
ConsorcioTec is the space in which manufacturers and contractors or integrators have the opportunity to receive refunds from suppliers for purchases made through the network that are based on the total volume of purchases made through the preferred suppliers of the group.
Additionally, ConsorcioTec also seeks to create value among integrators by allowing it to be a place where companies can generate improved communications with official suppliers, have the opportunity to access education and business guidance, generate new business opportunities, and achieve high recognition through the network.
Suppliers, for their part, will have access to a network of integrators and contractors working in different industries, will be able to access enhanced member engagement to specify their products, and participate within a collaborative environment to engage the integrative community.
Nortek Security & Controls becomes the first manufacturer to join the group as a Founding Affiliate Provider. "The Latin American market is asking for more from us, and with the participation of companies like Nortek, we are leading a movement to help regional integrators SMEs specify and buy more efficiently, effectively and profitably," said Max Jaramillo, Chief Integrator Advocate at ConsorcioTec.
The initial affiliation to ConsorcioTec has no cost for qualified integrators, who can enter the group of buyers following a series of requirements that can be consulted directly on the website www.consorciotec.com.

ConsorcioTec already has a group of experts from different sectors that make up the Advisory Committee.
