TecnoMultimedia Colombia exceeded expectations in 2022

Colombia. Around 2,000 people, including visitors and attendees to the conference program, arrived during the two days of the eleventh edition of TecnoMultimedia Colombia and its parallel events, TecnoTelevisión & Radio and Expo DataNet Andino, on their return to Corferias after a two-year break, on October 20 and 21, closing the cycle of 2022 events and exceeding expectations in attendance after the success in Brazil and Mexico, in May and August of this year, respectively.

TEcnomultimedia ColombiaDuring the opening of the event, Max Jaramillo, Show Director of the three fairs, presented the new brand of the event: IntegraTEC. “Part of our challenge in organizing this fair is to help integrators grow their business. They are the center of this industry”, he explained, and highlighted that “by considering the mission and vision of the event, in addition to where the market is going, we decided to create this new brand that will encompass the three industries” of professional AV, Broadcast and Networks. of data, which in recent years have experienced a rapprochement in their technologies and users, and will now meet in an event of three converging industries.

On the other hand, on October 20, the audiovisual work “Destierro” was awarded, presented by Diego Andrés Prieto Ramírez, a student at the University of Tolima, who received 31% of the votes, among the five projects nominated for the eighth version of the TecnoTelevisión 2022 University Contest. The winner received a production kit that includes a Sony camera, tripod and professional lamp, sponsored by the Vidiexco, E-Image, Pinnacle Group and Litepanels brands.

The five nominated projects also include the works:
• “Urban women: female participation in street art”, presented by Juanita Builes Gallo, Santiago Caicedo Daza, Juan Diego Cortés Amaya and Sofía Botero Ruiz, from the University of La Sabana.
• “Suplicio”, presented by Miguel Eduardo Gómez Torres, from Uniminuto.
• “Apa´ Una - Ancestral Ritual”, presented by Ana Robles, Linda Ospino and Ender Enrique Iriarte, from Sergio Arboleda University.
• “Beyond waste”, presented by Ana María Gómez Ruano, Paula Camacho de Urbina, Paula Camila Pichimata, Paula Daniela Ortegón and Esteban Muñoz Sosa, from the University of La Sabana.

TEcnomultimedia ColombiaRegarding the balance of visitors, the exhibitors highlighted the number of attendees, which "exceeded expectations, with good leads", according to Juan Manuel Aguiló from Broadcast Depot, who stated that his participation in the fair "definitively was a good investment". .

In turn, Viviana Guio, Manager of the Andes, Central America and the Caribbean of Jabra, agreed regarding the expectations for the return of the expo to Colombia and highlighted that "in this edition we have found strengthened allies, and we also want to be a brand that supports the event with its new name”.

Thus, the new IntegraTEC brand will debut in May 2023 during the next event in Brazil, a meeting that will maintain the essence of TecnoMultimedia, TecnoTelevisión & Radio and Expo DataNet, with a renewed look. An integration event for integrators.
