Raúl Valenziano leaves Wesco Anixter, Araceli Aguilar arrives

Raúl Valenziano sale de Wesco Anixter, llega Araceli Aguilar

Latin America. The company Wesco Anixter announced changes in its direction for Latin America. After 27 years in the company, Raúl Valenziano, Vice President and General Manager for the CALA region, is leaving his position.

"We extend our sincere thanks to Raul for his unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership and numerous contributions to our organization throughout his career. Raúl's legacy is marked by his relentless pursuit of excellence, transformative initiatives, and unwavering commitment to driving out-of-market performance. His journey has been remarkable, holding several leadership roles, including VP of Sales for the Southern Cone, VP of Marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean and VP of Sales for South America, before assuming the role of VP and General Manager of CALA in 2011."

After announcing the departure of Raúl Valenziano, the company welcomed Araceli Aguilar as the new Vice President and General Manager for CALA. Araceli brings more than a decade of experience within the organization, with a proven track record of success. Her leadership skills, strategic vision, and deep knowledge of the markets make her the ideal candidate to lead the CALA team into the future.

Prior to joining Wesco Anixter, Araceli held key positions at organizations such as Scansource, Ingram Micro, Samsung, and Epson Corp, further enriching her expertise in sales and product management. Araceli lives in Mexico City with her partner Victor and their two children, Victor (14) and Julia (9). His dedication to his personal and professional endeavors serves as an inspiration to us all.

The company added that "Araceli's trajectory began in January 2013, when she joined as Sales Director for the Metro and Southeast branches in Mexico. Her tenure has been marked by significant accomplishments, including the successful launch of sales initiatives for the SMB and Mid Market segments, which they have then expanded to all of CALA, leading to her promotion to Managing Director of Mexico, in July 2014. Under Araceli's leadership, our business in Mexico achieved a growth rate in service-associated sales of more than 70%, positioning Wesco Anixter as the preferred partner for integrators and end users in highly complex projects."
