"We want Everet to be known by integrators and customers"

François Pierre, Partner Manager de la compañía Everet Imaging BV

Latin America. We spoke with François Pierre, Partner Manager of the company Everet Imaging BV, about the innovation and commercial projection work carried out by the brand.

AVI: What are the most recent solutions and innovations in Everet Imaging's portfolio?
François Pierre: Lately we have introduced some new products and features in our portfolio. First of all, we have released our newest firmware with the auto-tracking feature for the EVP, EVX, and EVPRO series cameras.

Automatic tracking is powered by artificial intelligence, and no other hardware devices are needed to track a person. Through our web interface, you can easily configure settings such as tracking area, lock zone, zoom factor, and more. It is possible to start and stop the auto-tracking function from the IR remote control, but also via our EVKB-MINI PTZ controller. Naturally, the auto-tracking feature can also be enabled or disabled via Visca over IP. This makes it easy to integrate with AMX, Crestron, and other control panels.

Secondly, we have launched our small form factor PTZ NDI controller called EVKB-MINI. If you are looking for a flexible PTZ controller that supports both standard IP and NDI protocols at an affordable price, then the EVKB-MINI is the right choice. Easily switch between cameras, configure presets, and start or stop the auto-tracking feature on our cameras.

Finally, we've added two Full HD box cameras to our EVZ series that are very useful in situations where PTZ isn't necessarily needed. The cameras have 20x or 30x optical zoom. Of course, these two new cameras come with NDI®|HX2 and POE along with standard outputs (3G-SDI and HDMI).

AVI: What are the benefits and advantages that EVERET IMAGING offers to its customers, compared to competing companies?
François Pierre: At Everet Imaging we like to keep the lines with our clients as short as possible, so we are really involved and can help them in the best way. We have defined the following key points that differentiate us from other suppliers.

Made in Holland (Certificate of Origin).
International express shipping.
24-hour direct support and service.
Advice and protection of personalised projects.
Innovative products based on the latest technologies and developments.

AVI: How have the products and solutions your company offers evolved thanks to NDI technology?
François Pierre: NDI has been the focus of our brand since the beginning and we were one of the first in the market to implement NDI technology in our products. Almost all of our camera series include NDI as standard. We have implemented High Bandwith NDI, NDI|HX2 and NDI|HX3 and we are officially certified.

Looking at how NDI makes it easy to integrate our cameras into different applications, we're very happy that we chose to focus on this technology. It makes our cameras flexible and professional. We support vMix, OBS, Wirecast, Skaarhoj, Netgear AV-Line, and all NDI tools. Our cameras always work with the latest version of NDI® as much as possible.

AVI: What market segments and business verticals does EVERET IMAGING currently serve?
François Pierre: Our cameras are used in different market segments where PTZ cameras are or are becoming more popular. We've summarised some of our key markets.

Education.
Places of worship.
Videoconferencing spaces.
Event Streaming.
Video studios.

In the education sector, we see strong growth in demand for auto-tracking cameras at a scalable price and that's what we're focused on. We already have universities that use our cameras to record classes automatically. Also, in the post-coronavirus stage, we have seen that places of worship have been adopting cameras more and more to offer their services to people at home. Our cameras are also suitable for this market, especially because of their light sensitivity and flexibility.

Moreover, our EVC series is designed specifically for video conferencing spaces. We have our PTZ cameras with 12x or 20x optical zoom and our all-in-one solution that includes speaker, microphone and camera. In turn, live streaming of events is a segment of the market where our cameras are used to capture a stage from different angles to create a high-quality live production. Thanks to our single-cable solution (PoE, NDI, Ethernet control), it's very easy to set up and connect.

Finally, it is possible to find our cameras in video studios where, for example, up to 7 cameras are used at the same time together with our controller (EVKB-200N) to manage each angle and focus on the different people present.

AVI: How is Everet Imaging going to project itself in the Latin American market in the short and medium term?
François Pierre: Our short-term goal for the Latino market is brand recognition. We want our brand to be known among system integrators and their customers so that it can be a proposal during tenders and projects. To support our partners, we have dedicated demo models to test and experience our products in reality. For the future we hope to serve the Latino market as best we can and become the brand of choice, especially in universities and other market segments where PTZ cameras are needed.
