Mexico. During the KNX Days, held at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, CDMX campus, the company TROnik participated jointly with the presentation: Redesigning Our Communities "An Organic and Technological Approach", the importance of technologies that seek the efficient use of energy when facing the daily activities of society was discussed. which need to be accompanied by the rational use of natural resources such as water and energy.
"I am a deep admirer of technology that seeks the comfort and security of homes and offices but I am concerned about how it is used, it is curious that the more technology we have, the less progress we make in the growth and development of other areas, we are at a time of rethinking and redesigning new societies with users responsible for them," said Maribel Pacheco, Commercial Director of the TROnik company.
Meanwhile, Raúl Tablas León, EcoXpert Sales Engineer - Digital Energy at Schneider Electric, recalled that new technologies force us to continue evolving and achieve a more comfortable life, however, people must become more aware of how much they spend on resource consumption. "We are unaware of what we spend on natural resources, so it is a priority to have a monitoring service that provides data on the volume of daily water we consume when bathing, when washing our hands, on how much energy we consume in each action we perform."
"It is useless to have a platform that measures consumption, if a person leaves the water tap open when washing their hands. Technology is very useful, but if we do not take the step of social awareness, the mission of these technologies will be very distant"
Likewise, Maribel Pacheco said that in Mexico, publicizing new technologies such as KNX is not easy, "so we pay special attention to working with universities such as Tec de Monterrey, which opened its doors to this standard in home automation by being certified as Scientific Partners, preparing new generations in these technologies, contributing to the growth of professionals in the field."
He recalled that TROnik has a 15-year history, carrying out numerous projects in Mexico and Latin America, in addition to being the KNX Certification Center, they have been collaborating with Tec de Monterrey for ten years.
Finally, during the KNX Days, Yadira Gutiérrez Martínez, Research Professor, School of Engineering and Departmental Sciences of Industrial Engineering, Tecnológico de Monterrey and Sergio Alberto Navarro Tuch, Research Professor, School of Engineering and Sciences Department of Mechatronics also participated with the Presentation: KNX: The strategic axis for improvement in health and education; Zaid Márquez Hernández, from the company ABB with the presentation Innovation and Technology: the future of today's sustainable buildings; Berenice Vázquez, Estévez Automation Project Coordinator, with the presentation: Energy Efficiency Logics for the Hotel Industry; as well as the company Proingenium-Interra, with the presentation: Building Automation Design for Artificial Intelligence.
