Mexico. Panduit announced the investment in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to electrical connectivity and grounding in Monterrey, Mexico. This new 90,000-square-foot (27,432-square-meter) facility will strengthen the ability to offer customized electrical connectivity and grounding solutions to meet growing customer demand around the world.
This new plant will be added to the 23 thousand meters of the existing plants. It will be Panduit's third plant in Monterrey and with it, the complex will become the company's largest plant worldwide.
At the end of 2022, Panduit inaugurated its second plant in Monterrey, with an area of 7,803 square meters, which generated more than 280 new direct jobs in the region. Panduit's first plant in Monterrey, celebrates 17 years of uninterrupted operation this year, which generates more than 750 direct jobs in the country and has an extension of 15,226 meters, this first plant supports 80% of the manufacturing within Panduit of solutions such as cabinets for data centers and cabling organizers.
The new plant will be focused on the production of a wide range of electrical connectivity products, including power connectors for cable termination, terminals and the innovative ReelSmart™ solution, as well as various grounding and bonding products. Panduit will also invest in new manufacturing equipment to expand capacity, which will allow for greater flexibility, faster fulfillment times and streamlined processes. This strategic expansion aims to accelerate production and delivery times, as well as offer customized solutions that address unique operational challenges.

Thanks to its strategic location and advanced capabilities, Panduit seeks to strengthen its global supply chain and better serve customers in various industries, from industrial manufacturing and renewable energy to data centers, among others.
