Argentina. Sony integrates new solutions for studios and content creators into its portfolio of professional audio products in Argentina, including two models of headphones and a microphone for studio recordings.
The MDR-M1 and MDR-MV1 monitoring headsets, and the C-80 condenser microphone; designed so that music creators and sound engineers can produce music in any environment, and be heard as they intended.
The headphones combine sound quality with durability and reliability, due to a lightweight and comfortable design that allows users to create in their own environments, as if they were in the studio. Combining studio sound quality with extreme comfort and reliability, the MDR-M1 headphones are ideal for a wide range of music production and Hi-Res Audio applications; and the MDR-MV1 open back design allows for accurate reproduction of a wide sound field, making them an ideal choice for mixing and mastering surround spatial sound.
"There is a growing demand for headphones that meet surround sound needs, but also accommodate spatial sound and high-quality music streaming services. Sony has a long history in the audio sector and that is why it now makes professional headphones available in Sony's usual marketing channels throughout Latin America. These products prioritize comfort, but provide long-term durability, in addition, they are flexible and elegant options to accompany during the reproduction of precise sounds, just as the artist intended them to be heard," says Elio Kushinakajo, Director of the Audio division for Sony Latin America.
The closed acoustic structure helps to eliminate ambient noise and sound leakage from the headphones, making them suitable for use in various production processes, so that every note can be carefully tuned and controlled to support the accuracy and authenticity of the creator. A tuned port (Beat Response Control) acts as a vent to control low frequencies. By optimizing the operation of the diaphragm, the low-frequency transient characteristics are improved, allowing sound to be accurately reproduced with a very tight bass response.
In the case of the MDR-MV1, they combine precise spatial reproduction of the sound field with the quality and comfort that creators and sound engineers crave. Their open back design allows for accurate reproduction of a wide sound field, making them an ideal choice for mixing and mastering surround spatial sound, such as 360 Reality Audio, as well as stereo sound with high-resolution capability.
By offering greater spatial sound reproduction capability and precise positioning of sound objects in a 360-degree space, as well as clear, high-resolution and nuanced sound, with a very wide frequency range and an accurate soundstage, it makes it easier for professionals to capture location, the amplitude and detailed changes in sound processing.
To complement the offer of professional products, the new C-80 model, microphone for studio recordings, is added to the distribution in consumer channels, which is ideal for recording vocals, instruments, video blogs and podcasts.
This unidirectional condenser microphone inherits the technology of other renowned products such as the C-100 and C-800G, making this product attractive for its body structure, the double diaphragm configuration that reduces sound changes produced by distance (proximity effect) and brings greater stability to the voice recording process. This model builds on Sony's legacy in professional audio and offers users an entry-level model that incorporates high-end features.
