Argentina. Argentinian exhibition chain Cinemacenter has selected Christie's CineLife+ Series cinema projectors to equip its new Paseo Libertad Rivera Indarte complex, located in the city of Cordoba.
Recently inaugurated, and with the integration made by CES+, this cinema marks a milestone in the Argentine film industry by becoming the first complex in the country fully equipped with laser projectors.
The complex has five rooms, which add up to a total of 1,100 seats. A Christie CP2415-RGB pure laser projector has been installed in the largest room, providing up to 15,000 lumens, 2K resolution and incorporating Real|Laser, excelling in image quality, operational lifespan and overall cost.
The rest of the cinemas have been equipped with the CineLife+ RBe projectors models CP2409-RBe, CP2411-RBe and CP2406-RBe equipped with Phazer lighting technology, which brings together advanced features and electronic solutions in an economical platform, with 2K resolution and a brightness power ranging from 6,000 to 11,000 lumens.
The choice of Christie's laser projectors was supported by several factors, as explained by Cinemacenter's CEO, Esteban Suñé: "100% laser technology was essential to renew our projector fleet. We were convinced by Christie's progress in this field, and the close accompaniment of both the brand and CES+ during the acquisition process generated key confidence in making this decision. In addition, the competitive price of this state-of-the-art technology proved to be decisive in choosing Christie as a supplier."
Cinemacenter plans to continue its process of technological renewal, with the intention of continuing to rely on Christie for future projects. With this new cinema, Cinemacenter now has 95 theaters distributed in 19 complexes in 10 Argentine provinces.
