Latin America. From February 18 to 21, the company Crestron held its Latin Techincal Summit, which by 2025 was held in Lima and in which more than 80 people from 14 different Latin American countries participated.
Mariana Aguilar, Latam Marketing Director of Crestron, in conversation with AVI Latin America highlighted that "The main objective was to offer high-quality technical training for those who are involved in the design and implementation of advanced technological solutions, especially in the field of automation of AV and lighting projects, both commercial and residential".
The Crestron Technical Summit was aimed at Engineers who had certain previous certifications in Crestron who work in integrative companies, who are certified partners of Crestron Latin.
The training covered the design and programming of Crestron solutions, with a focus on how to optimize and customize implementations to meet each customer's needs. The latest advances in Intelligent Video, Crestron Home, management software and commercial lighting were also addressed.
Regarding the 2025 version of this meeting, Mariana Aguilar stressed that "It was an extremely technical and enriching day for all attendees. The balance has been extremely positive. The attendees were very engaged and actively participated in all the sessions. The more than 20 hours of training were of a high level and well received, and the feedback has been excellent. Without a doubt, we managed to strengthen the Crestron community in LATAM and left an important mark on the road to consolidating a more capable and competitive market."
And they are already preparing the 2026 version. "It has become an important event on CrestronLatin's agenda, and this edition in Lima marks an important milestone in our constant expansion and commitment to education and the strengthening of integrators in the region. We are already working on planning for the Crestron Technical Summit 2026. We will continue to focus on delivering an event that inspires integrators, promotes learning and opens up new business opportunities in the region."
