The administration of campín, within this great project, invested 700 million pesos only in the enhancement of the lighting of the stage, necessary to be in accordance with the requirements of the international governing body of football and to be able to elaborate a night transmission of high-definition football events.
According to the technical recommendations and requirements stipulated by FIFA, stadiums must be illuminated in such a way that no players, referees, or spectators suffer any kind of glare. In the same way, this body also determines that lighting should not generate shadows and hard contours on the pitch, since these are not appropriate for high-resolution digital television broadcasts.
To achieve this enhancement in the lighting of the Colombian stadium, the administration changed the lighting chests, regulated the photometry, built four energy substations and changed 276 luminaires.
Nowadays the athletes enjoy a field with international characteristics, with a pitch and lighting in accordance with the stipulations of FIFA, meanwhile, the fans who attend the stadium enjoy excellent clarity to observe football, that is, without suffering any type of glare. Also, viewers who watch the games on television, enjoy an impeccable digital transmission.
Apart from the lighting, the stadium administration carried out another work whose characteristics also obtained the attention of the avi Latin America lens, it is the installation of two huge LED screens connected to a closed circuit television (CCTV), whereas, among other functionalities, it aims to discourage outbreaks of violence from bars; this, according to what was expressed by the director of the District Institute of Recreation and Sport (IDRD) José Jaime tapias.
In the inner part of the Stadium a Espectacolor screen of 10 x 6 meters was installed with a special area of 6 x 3 meters for the markers of the matches, on the outside another one was placed that measures 10 x 5 meters, this one has the shape of a tower, that is, the ten meters are down.
The screens were manufactured with high brightness LED technology, which makes them suitable for outdoors and to be observed from angles that are around 170 degrees, guaranteeing visibility in all corners of the stage.
The CCTV is made up of eight cameras and the entire stadium can be monitored and projected onto the screens.
