Bittree announced that its systems control area was chosen to operate Panasonic's state-of-the-art LIE 4HD center marker video, installed at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.For John DeLaTorre, manager of broadcast services at staples Center, "Bittree's patchbays gives us the performance and flexibility we need to quickly reconfigure video and audio at different events, and also to build quick fixes in the event of a team failure during production."
Its installation includes broadband and Mini-Weco video patchbays, configured for HD-SDI operation that provide a test output, allowing engineers to isolate the main screen and correct a malfunction quickly and, the Bantam patchbays programmable audio for point-by-point modifications.
In addition, the Bittree patchbays manages hundreds of channels of the main screen and includes four high-definition screens, four dashboards in the corners, and the LED screens located below the settings for front seat viewers, as well as numerous other screens located in the field.
