International . Registration is now open for the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association's annual cedia Expo, the residential electronic systems trade show that will take place Sept. 7-10 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
The event, which attracts the world's most renowned electronic systems professionals every year, allows visitors to appreciate the latest technologies and news from the more than 400 exhibiting companies. Additionally, as Cedia's largest university educational offer, it offers ample opportunities for the formation of networks and product manufacturers.
For 2011, the fair will offer 30 new college courses, including a topic on the Old School vs New School panel: a debate between industry veterans and newcomers. In addition to the above, there will also be an expanded edition of the Technology of the Future Pavilion that was launched at Cedia Expo 2010, and visitors will also have the experience of having access to each house integration technology.
For Utz Baldwin, CEO of Cedia, "the event is the main connection point for electronic systems professionals. Cedia Expo provides contractors of new and existing electronic systems and exhibitors with the advantage of learning about new business opportunities, leveraging recurring revenue streams and building high-quality relationships with prospective buyers."
Another novelty of this version will be the Annual Keynote Breakfast which will feature the presentation of Tim Costello, whose presentation: "Learning to Thrive in the New Normal Economy", will be a good option for attendees to find opportunities in the new economic scenario.
