The Cedia Expo 2011 trade show for the residential electronics industry is just days away, which will take place September 7-10 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, and will offer, among other things, the latest technologies in the sector, free product exhibitions and special networking training.
Attendees will also be able to learn about some strategies to obtain utilities in home entertainment, environmental control, energy management, green technology, safety, and health and well-being fully integrated for their homes.
Likewise, one of the main attractions of this version will be the Future Technology Pavilion that in its second appearance will simulate the environment of a house of the future, incorporating new technologies for the home such as developments for kitchens, living rooms, smart appliances, wireless energy to prepare food, individual rooms, bathroom, home office and garage.
In addition, during the third day of the event (Friday, September 9 at 2:00 pm) the "State of the Industry" presentation will be developed in which representatives from Asia, Europe, and Latin America will discuss the current trends of the sector and the perspectives that are erected for the future.
Finally, one of the novelties of this version will be the new mobile application for smartphones Follow Me, designed to improve the experience of visitors to the fair and have access to the maps and addresses of the stands, the schedules of the trainings, the interaction with social media and the possibility of downloading the electronic brochures of the speakers.
