Neumann
Neumann, presents a new blank version of its compact speaker monitor DSP KH 80. This white version has been designed for stylish projects or home studios that prefer white monitors, for installations where the speakers should not distract the look of the room.
The KH 80 DSP two-way active monitor has been acclaimed by users around the world as it provides a highly accurate and professional speaker in a compact size. Representing the latest in acoustic and electronic simulation and measurement technologies, the KH 80 DSP features the same features that minimize distortion from larger Neumann models, as well as the same Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™ (MMD) waveguide™, which ensures wide and narrow vertical horizontal scattering, making the monitor more forgiving with diverse acoustic environments, ensuring a smoother off-axis response, fewer reflections and freedom of movement.
The cabinet of the KH 80 DSP is made of a special polycarbonate compound that eliminates standing waves and ensures an ultra-fast transient response for bass. It also reduces the distortion of intermodulation, particularly in the mid-range. The front panel is made of one piece, which minimizes diffraction and ensures a smoother frequency response throughout the assembly. Two large ports reduce bass compression and are useful when the monitor needs to be placed in tight spaces.
