Biamp presents the new generation of its Devio collaborative platform with new functionalities to improve audio quality and simplify installation and programming for integrators, including microphones that follow the sound source while moving through a space and support for VoIP/POTS equipment.
Among other novelties of Devio, microphones with Beamtracking technology are included that, unlike most microphones that have a static system, are able to follow the source of the sound, that is, the person who speaks in the meeting, if he moves inside the room, without losing quality or volume of the audio.
This solution was designed for small and medium meeting rooms, and includes: the CR-1 digital signal processor optimized for small rooms and compatible with the use of personal devices (BYOD), the new DSP SCR-20 and SCR-2 with the same functions of the CR-1, in addition to integration with HDMI audio, support for 4K30 video and HDCP 1.4, Bluetooth support and an interface for wired VoIP/POTS equipment, and DTM-1 microphones for tabletop and DCM-1 for ceiling.
