The new U843R UniPoint multidirectional surface microphone is a versatile tool for surface mount installations, thanks to the three cardioid condenser elements included in a single phantom-powered housing.
It is designed for a wide variety of video and audio conferencing applications, especially when used with an Audio-Technica automatic SmartMixer mixer. The two arms of the microphone base allow the reorientation of two elements to offer 360º or 300º coverage. The elements can be powered and used individually or in combination for flexibility.
Installation and repositioning are easy thanks to the four grooves embedded and indented in the base of the microphone, which allow the cable to be directed to adapt to any installation requirement; no need to disassemble or use tools.
The microphone also offers Audio-Technica's innovative UniGuard radio frequency interference protection (RFI) technology.
