Matrox
In conjunction with Ensemble Video, its technology partner, Matrox presents to the market a new device for recording lessons and lectures, it is the Monarch LCS, an easy-to-use system that has two inputs and supports video from any SDI or HDMI camera, as well as content from computer presentations through an HDMI connection.
Inputs can be encoded separately and synchronized for use with the latest multi-stream video players; They can also be combined before encoding into a variety of production schemes, including picture-in-picture and side-by-side, for use with standard video players.
Monarch LCS is a standalone network appliance that IT administrators will be able to easily configure and integrate into video management systems (VMS), such as Opencast and Kaltura, and into learning management systems (LMS), such as Moodle.
Powerful scaling, deinterlacing and noise reduction engines ensure that encoders only receive pristine images. In the case of transmission, encoders use the RTMP or RTSP protocols to deliver live streams to local media servers or cloud-based content broadcasting networks.
