Matrox introduces the VS4Recorder Pro, a software that allows you to record four live audio/video sources in high quality with a Matrox VS4 Quad HD-SDI card.
Facilitate live multi-camera recording and create video content for reuse and archiving. VS4Recorder Pro offers two recording modes: "multi-camera", which makes accurate and synchronized captures, and "independent", which allows you to choose from a wide selection of video and audio codecs. In addition, the software simultaneously provides a complete multi-vision experience.
Among its many features, it guarantees the user to capture with recognized codecs to be able to work with their preferred non-linear editing system without having to transcode them. Matrox MPEG-2 I-frame codec up to 300 Mb/s is provided in an AVI container. The H.264 codec is provided in both MOV and MP4 containers. And QuickTime DV/DVCAM, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50 and DVCPRO HD files are provided in MOV containers. General audio settings include audio codecs for .wav and .aac files with bitrate, bit depth, and stereo/mono options.
It also automatically detects the video format. Each input is independent, so it can be captured in HD and SD in the same session.
