The latest Maevex APIs enable new customization and control options for managing and maintaining Maevex 6020 video capture devices in educational and enterprise environments.
Leveraging the Maevex 6020 Remote Recorder RS-232 and Maevex 6020 Remote Recorder REST APIs, users can support control of Maevex 6020 recorders from a local touchscreen controller, as well as automate the monitoring of all devices on the network, respectively, in AV/IT ecosystems.
With the RS-232 API, users can program a variety of basic commands, including start, stop, pause, resume, extend, state, and restart, providing teachers and presenters with a simple form of control, via touchscreen controllers from Crestron, Kramer, Extron, or others.
In turn, the REST API, compatible with Panasonic products, enables coding to retrieve status updates, facilitating remote monitoring and maintenance to maximize uptime and minimize disruptions.
