Thanks to plug-and-play functionality and ease of use, Audio Technica's ATUC-50 digital conferencing system offers reliable, clear and intelligible communication, significantly improving meeting efficiency. The system provides uncompressed 24-bit/48kHz digital audio, which offers natural voice reproduction, along with a 12-band feedback suppressor that allows for higher volume levels.
The ATUC-50CU rackmount control unit can power and control up to 50 ATUC-50DU conference units. In addition, up to three control units can be cascaded via a Cat5e (or higher) cable. This cascading connection then allows the use of up to 150 conference units in a single system. The ATUC-50CU system has four balanced outputs and one unbalanced output, as well as AUX RCA inputs (left/right), two micro/line inputs and two interpretation return inputs that allow the transmission of simultaneous interpretation in addition to the language of the room.
The system is equipped with an audio recorder capable of recording MP3 or WAV files of 2 GB or less on a usb connected mass storage device (2 TB of maximum storage capacity). Once the 2 GB limit is reached, a new file is created to continue recording. Up to four channels are available for recording WAV files and two for recording MP3 files.
