Hall Research
Designed for easy distribution of one or more HDMI sources for multiple displays or any LAN, Hall Research's HHD264 virtual dynamic array allows the simultaneous connection of up to 64 transmitters to the network and up to 256 receivers can be accommodated. Full HD (1080p/60) video is streamed with user-defined bitrate.
For a perfect Full HD image it uses 15 Mbps, while for HD (1080i or 720p) it uses 12 Mbps. If the content is mostly static (as in presentations), users can encode with lower data rates to save bandwidth and maintain a perfect image.
HDMI video and audio extend along with data from the bidirectional RS-213. The video routing coming from the transmitters to the receivers can be pre-assigned, using the multicast dip switch, but the system can also behave as a Dynamic Virtual Matrix Switch.
For fixed signal routing from transmitters to receivers, the dip switch can adjust the path of transmitters to any group of receivers. In short, users can change the source by displaying any receiver on the fly, dynamically.
