Platinum Tools' MapMaster 3.0 VDV combines continuity testing, mapping, tone generation and length measurement functions into one easy-to-use unit for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance for telecommunications, networking or coaxial cable.
This device allows to perform tests for the configuration of T568A / B wire map, detecting shorts, open cables, poorly wired, reverses and split pairs, and perform unilateral tests. It is also able to identify the location of the cables in the active ports, by flashing the Port Link light.
It features an easy-to-read backlit LCD with large icons, dark-lit keyboard and built-in LED flashlight for use in dark areas, for commercial or residential projects, can measure lengths in feet and meters, can identify up to 20 network cables or coaxial cable at once and perform voice tests (6 wires), data (8 wires) and video (coaxial cable).
