Platinum Tools introduces the Connector Selector, an online tool that makes it easy to match the correct connector to the cable being installed.
For example, it's easy to think that for a Cat6 cable, the connectors should be Cat6. However, Cat6 cable can vary and have thicker insulation, larger conductors, tighter twisted pairs, and a variety of shielding and grounding arrangements, to fit the required performance.
This tool allows you to select the DO of the cable cover, OD of the insulated, shielded or unshielded conductor, among other cable options, and then indicate the connectors that best suit.
