L-com Global Connectivity's new line of HDMI cable assemblies is waterproof for use in AV applications in industrial computing, digital signage, industrial automation, medical applications or in harsh environments.
These IP67-rated HDMI cables feature a waterproof coupling that allows them to function properly in harsh environments by preventing the entry of water and fine particles, such as dust, which would normally weaken standard HDMI connectors.
These unique cables feature support for 4K and 1080p resolutions, robust molded housings, and gold-plated contacts that withstand repeated coupling cycles.
The line also includes an IP67 rated panel mount coupler that can be used with cable assemblies. The VHC00023 features a standard female HDMI Type-A connector on one side and PC connections on the other side, for termination of a cable or PC board.
