The MapMaster Mini Pocket Cable Tester is a small tester that maps multiple RJ45 network cable locations and detects short circuits, openings, faulty connections, inversions, and split pairs.
This tool can be used with the built-in tone generator with four different tone combinations along with a tone probe to detect where a cable is routed and the location of the cable end.
You can determine the condition of the cable, whether it is in good condition or defective, and displays it on your LCD screen. A set of five mapping remotes is included to locate finished cables in wall sockets or connection panels. It also identifies the connection panel port where the network cable is terminated and can find and correct the position of exposed or hidden cables.
