The Latin American Security Association, ALAS, joins the Congress of integrated audiovisual systems, Tecnomultimedia InfoComm, providing its support to the organization in order to join forces so that both industries grow in terms of education and knowledge of new technologies.
Today electronic security and the AV industry converge and achieve the integration of high-tech systems in buildings of many types for complementary operation and easier use for the end user. In this regard, Víctor Alarcón, executive director of ALAS, explained: "Although the functions of an audio and video system are different from those of an electronic security system, they are complementary in some communication interfaces, as well as in data transmission platforms, such as IP. In the future they will be even more complementary."
This alliance will allow professionals in the electronic security industry to learn more about the AV sector, complementary business lines, as well as companies and professionals with whom to work on possible joint projects. "It is the opportunity to start learning in an exciting and dynamic industry such as professional audio and video. So we invite wings members to attend Tecnomultimedia InfoComm," said Víctor Alarcón.
Tecnomultimedia InfoComm will be held on August 11 and 12, 2011 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
