TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico exceeded expectations

After its first edition in Mexican territory, TecnoMultimedia InfoComm 2011 put a very high point for what will be its next version next year in this country. Among exhibitors, attendees and organization of the event, optimism is around.

Resounding success was the common qualifier among the participants. Large number of visitors, excellent promotion of their brands and multiple business options were the common comments among exhibitors.

Visitors to the commercial exhibition and attendees of the academic program of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2011 also expressed their satisfaction with the organization of the event and the quality of exhibitors and speakers, both of the program organized by InfoComm, as well as that of Cedia and Kolo Academy, together with the Mexican Association of Digital Signage (DSMX) and the support of LG Electronics.

Another factor that evidenced the success of the event was the confirmation of the bulk of the exhibitors who will repeat their presence for the 2012 edition, which will be held again at the World Trade Center in Mexico City on August 8, 9 and 10, and which already presages a greater success than in 2011, because a year after the event more than 50% of the stands for 2012, which will be almost double those of this year, have already been reserved.

Among attendees, exhibitors and speakers at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2011 there is a recurring feeling, that of satisfaction, something that is pleasantly welcomed by the organization of the event at the head of Latin Press, Inc. and InfoComm International.

"From Latin Press we are pleasantly surprised by the enormous reception that this first edition of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm had among the Mexican public, which in general shows a very positive balance. A reflection of this is to have already sold more than 50% of the spaces of the commercial exhibition for next year, a situation that motivates us to continue working with the firm objective of surpassing what was done in this first edition, "says Max Jaramillo, president of Latin Press, Inc.

In the same way, he emphasizes, "now the second version of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm is coming in Medellín, Colombia, a major challenge that is also a priority for us and that we are already convinced will exceed the expectation that the participating companies and people have set."

TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia 2011 will be held on November 9 and 10 at the Plaza Mayor Convention and Exhibition Center in the city of Medellín.

On the other hand, Nelson Baumgratz (CTS-D, Brazil), who is an active member of infoComm's training program, believes that "for the Latin American context it is very important that training and commercial events such as TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico arrive, because in this way you have contact with the latest trends that the industry brings. It also makes it possible to have more qualified people, who know how to solve the different problems that arise".

He also highlights that "currently the companies that are going to stand out are those that know in greater detail the needs of the user, and initiatives such as TecnoMultimedia InfoComm allow to have a more direct contact with those needs, especially with those that have to do with the Latin American market".

For his part, the engineer José Luis Maya, Marketing Manager Pro Sound / PA for Latin America of the bosch company, points out that "it is important to always have contact with the client and know directly what they need, that is why we in the company seek to have the greatest closeness, and I believe that TecnoMultimedia InfoComm is an excellent space to materialize this objective".

Meanwhile, Sergio Gaitán, representative of the company Tecso and who is part of the academic component of the contest, stresses that "we live in a world that evolves in terms of technology constantly and in which the average integrator is there of information, so a space like TecnoMultimedia InfoComm is of absolute importance and is something that must be faced seriously, attending the courses with the aim of taking advantage of the academic space and taking from the hand of the experts all that knowledge so that it is applied in the day to day in the A/V industry".

David Guizar, representative of LG, for his part, affirms that "we are quite excited to be able to actively participate with our latest products and novelties in a market as important as the Mexican and in general the Latin American context, for that reason, and with the purpose of being leaders in this market, and especially in that of Digital Signage, we came to TecnoMultimedia InfoComm with a great expectation that has been fully satisfied".
