Latin America. Due to the growth of Lectrosonics' presence in Colombia and Brazil, the company appointed a director for Southern Latin America. From now on, Christian Cabezas is in charge of the development of the market in this region.
"The distribution of Lectrosonics in Latin America was very segmented, there was no contact between the distributors and the sales leaders in the company, the distributor was going by himself. The company has a very serious support policy in the United States and the challenge is to expand it to our region, accompanying distributors and users with multiple systems and as it had been working it was difficult to implement, "he said.
With 43 years in the industry, Lectrosonics has its portfolio divided into two sectors: the first wireless istemas with transmitters of different types and wireless audio systems to send signals with the complete content. The second is the automatic mixing and conferencing systems.
"Lectrosonics is noted for its microphones, it is a brand that is at a very high level of quality. We do not have basic microphones, all our products are high-end. We are a very strong brand in the broadcast and film medium, in which we have been pioneers in the development of technologies, as well as in the area of live sound and acoustic analysis via wireless," he added.
Christian Cabezas is a sound engineer and has extensive experience in sales. Prior to Lectrosonics he was at VCR, a distributor of broadcast systems based in Colombia in which he was in charge of providing support for Lectrosonics customers.
