Powersoft Unveils Human Audio Experience Center Plans

Powersoft revela planes del Human Audio Experience Center

International. Powersoft has announced plans for a new headquarters, which it has dubbed the Powersoft Human Audio Experience Center, which will be located in Florence, Italy.

The company said the headquarters is designed by Atelier Alfonso Femia, an internationally renowned architecture firm with offices in Genoa, Milan and Paris. The new headquarters, which covers more than 9,200 m² over four floors, is purpose-built to accommodate the anticipated increase in the size of the company's workforce, as outlined in its development plan for the coming years.

By centralizing all corporate functions, it enhances departmental potential, improves cross-team collaboration, and delivers significant operational cost savings while increasing energy efficiency.

Luca Lastrucci, CEO of Powersoft, said: "This plan marks an important milestone in the company's history and growth trajectory. As Powersoft expands, there is a growing imperative to expand our space and strengthen our resources, improving the efficiency and competitiveness of our business in the market. Through continuous investments in research and development, Powersoft aims to maintain its global technology leadership in the audio industry. The Powersoft Human Audio Experience Center will serve as a center of excellence in audio technologies around the world, so it's crucial that innovation is reflected in the building's architectural design."

The Powersoft Human Audio Experience Center stands as a distinctive model of innovation and sustainability. The building's exterior profile, which resembles the shape of a sound wave, pays homage to the company's core business and underscores Powersoft's position as a technology pioneer in the audio industry.

The use of photovoltaic panels and energy-efficient technologies underscores the company's commitment to minimizing its environmental footprint, while the LEED-certified building exemplifies how design and architecture can be seamlessly integrated with the surrounding green space, with accessible areas for interaction, socializing, and hosting events, including those of the local community.

Alfonso Femia, CEO and founder of Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia, commented: "Powersoft's new headquarters will serve as a respectful addition to the local environment, contributing significantly to the city of Scandicci. The design seamlessly integrates production functions and storage, office spaces"

A tangible expression of corporate identity, technological excellence and the significant market change it represents, Powersoft's new headquarters will be based on three core values: Human, Audio and Experience. The philosophy revolves around placing people, technology and experimentation at the heart of the plan, with spaces designed to cater to the diverse needs of employees, clients, consultants and guests, as well as students and the local community.

In addition to areas aimed at fostering innovation and technological excellence through research labs, spaces for quality testing, measurement and product demonstration, the Powersoft Human Audio Experience Center will feature green areas, meeting rooms, fitness areas, a fully equipped dining room, meeting rooms and coffee corners – environments to cultivate a vibrant and welcoming workplace that fosters collaboration and employee well-being. The new building will serve as a versatile, multi-faceted hub, with spaces for events, demonstrations, and educational purposes, along with exhibition areas dedicated to showcasing the history and evolution of audio technologies.

Aligned with the company's strategic objectives, the Powersoft Human Audio Experience Center aims to be a premier technology hub for audio innovation, as well as a place to live, share and grow professionally, capable of attracting, engaging and retaining highly qualified talent.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, after which the company's production lines and all departments will be moved from the existing facility to the new headquarters.
