Mexico. Pamela Ramos Nieves was appointed as the new Director of Comstor in Mexico, in order to seek greater impact in the collaboration, network, data center and security markets , in which the company has a presence.
Jorge Tsuchiya, Managing Director of Westcon-Comtor in Mexico, said: "We are very happy with Pamela's promotion because her magnificent relationship with the manufacturer and with our partners will lead her to consolidate ourselves as Cisco's No. 1 Distributor."
Ramos joined Comstor more than five years ago, his previous position being that of Sales Manager where he achieved the position as one of the most important Cisco distributors in the country. His experience comes from the logistics world at APL Mexico. Both positions gave him the leadership skills and key knowledge for the expansion of the company.
The objectives that mark Ramos' strategy as the new Director of Comstor Mexico are:
1. Consolidate the company as Cisco's No. 1 Distributor in the short term.
2. Develop strategies focused on customer service, since it is the partners who make Comstor a strong Cisco distributor.
3. Strengthen initiatives that offer added value to the channel to continue growing your business.
4. Develop and strengthen the strategy in architectures, mainly in Security and Data Center.
5. Continue with the development of the Commercial, Enterprise and Public Sector segments, which ensure new business opportunities in these categories.
The new director has a degree in International Trade from the ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) Campus Estado de México. He has a Diploma in Management Skills from ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) in Mexico City; and is currently studying the Diploma in ICAMI, a subsidiary of IPADE.
