Carolina Triana will lead sales in Latam of Charmex

Colombia. Charmex Latin America has added Carolina Triana Bermúdez to its team as Sales Manager of the company at its headquarters in Bogotá, Colombia. In her new role, Carolina will report to Iñigo González, Charmex's Head of Latin American Development, and Constanza Gaitán, Charmex's Manager in Colombia.

"We are delighted with the addition of Carolina to our Latin American branch. Her extensive knowledge of the Latin American market and her 12 years of experience in the technology sector working with manufacturers and distribution channels make her the ideal candidate to enhance the commercial area of our company and give greater visibility to Charmex in the region," said Iñigo González.

Carolina takes up the position at Charmex after a year with Viewsonic, where she was Territory Manager in Colombia. Previously he worked at Nexsys Latin America as Manager of the Solutions, Security and Availability, and APC Product units. He also held various positions at wholesalers Makro Computo and MPS. Carolina studied Marketing at the EAN University with the specialization of Commercial Management, and Business Administration at the Nueva Granada Military University.

"I am very happy to become part of a company of global renown and as long a track record as Charmex. I come to contribute my experience in the area of marketing, brand positioning and distribution channel development, which I am sure will contribute to building solid and long-term relationships with each of our business partners in Colombia and Latin America, "said Carolina.

The boost that Charmex is giving to Latin America is also reflected in its growing participation in different events in the region. The company has recently held an open day for its distribution channel in Bogotá (and plans to hold a similar one in September in Medellín), to show the latest developments of its brands Wepresent (collaboration systems), Clevertouch (interactive monitors), Vivitek (projectors and connectivity solutions), Evoko (room reservation) and Vestel (monitors for digital signage, meeting rooms and video walls). With the latter brand, Charmex recently signed a distribution agreement for Portugal, Spain and Latin America.

Likewise, Charmex will exhibit again at InfoComm Colombia (October 3 to 5, 2018) where, in addition to its stand (#451), this year it will have a special participation in the Education Summit that will take place for the first time at the fair, and will also be part of a conference on evolution and audiovisual trends in the educational market.

The company has also recently supported EADA Business School in Bogotá in a seminar for Colombian executives on the digital transformation of companies, where Constanza Gaitán made a presentation on digital audiovisual communication.

In addition, Charmex continues to bet on expanding its reach to all of Latin America with the aim of supplying products and services to any point in the region, always with the aim of carrying out a wholesaler work that provides added value to the audiovisual sector. In fact, this year, it has participated in various operations in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Guatemala.

Charmex's facilities in Bogotá have more than 300 square meters and include a showroom and its own distribution warehouse that provides a faster and more efficient service to its network of distributors in Colombia and Latin America.
