Mexico. After a selection process that included a public call, InfoComm International appointed Sergio Enrique Gaitán Serrano as its Country Manager for Mexico, thus adding a new member to the team of the Development Directorate of Latin America and the Caribbean, led by Rodrigo Casassus.
The Association indicated that this appointment is made in recognition of the importance and growth of the Professional Audiovisual Industry in Mexico, which registered a market share of 21.3% in 2014.
Among the responsibilities that Sergio has as Country Manager, is the strengthening of InfoComm's presence in Mexico, the development of specific actions for the benefit of the industry and the constant support for the growth of the AV sector in the Mexican market.
Sergio E. Gaitán graduated in Marketing from the Universidad del Valle de México; He has 13 years of experience in the AV Industry in integration companies in Mexico. He began his path in the sector in Grupo Nice in 2002 occupying the position of Sales Coordinator and in 2007 he joined the ranks of Controlite, where he served as Project and Design Leader, deepening his technical knowledge.
In 2011 he joined Multimedia performing 100% commercial functions and participating in key projects for the company in recent years. Between 2009 and 2012 he actively participated in other associations in the tropicalization of certification exams and teaching various courses.
This is InfoComm's second appointment of a country manager in Latin America, after it appointed Nelson Baumgratz in Brazil in 2014.
