Colombia. Phillips announced the appointment of Colombian Ricardo Prieto Rondón as the new Lighting Manager for northern Latin America, who comes to the position with the mission of directing the lighting businesses in the multinational in Central America, the Caribbean and the Andean Region.
Ricardo Prieto, a professional in electrical engineering from the National University of Colombia, with a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from the Universidad del Rosario (2000), has a professional experience of 20 years where he has stood out for his leadership, strategic thinking and commercial experience in the energy and industrial sectors. He has obtained important achievements in commercial expansion and operational improvement in countries of the region.
He has worked as general manager of the German company Rittal, sales manager of General Electric, general manager at Disprelec, sales manager in companies of the Endesa group, as well as Siemens in positions such as sales manager, marketing engineer and product engineer.
With this assignment, Philips ratifies its commitment to continue incorporating the best of human and professional talent that allows it to maintain its leadership in the different lines of business in the region and specifically in Colombia.
