Latin America. Esteban Pérez, a professional with extensive knowledge and experience of the Latin American AV market, has been appointed as Atlona's first Director of Business Development for Latin America.
Perez will oversee all of Atlona's residential and commercial system sales efforts in Latin America and will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with local system integrators and distributors.
"Esteban's local industry expertise and existing relationships with integrators in the marketplace will be a real blessing as we begin to ramp up sales and collaborative efforts in other Latin American markets," said Ronni Guggenheim, CEO of Atlona. "Esteban joins our team during a period of fundamental growth and expansion; we will have support and guidance on the ground."
Prior to joining Atlona, Perez served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for VideoNet. Early in his career, Perez was the Sales Manager for Latin America and Europe at ComQi where he was responsible for channel management as well as maintaining relationships with system integrators.
Esteban Pérez, who speaks five languages (English, Spanish, Italian, German and Portuguese), will be based in Latin America and will report to Atlona's new international headquarters in Zurich.
