Mexico. The company Audio-Technica took advantage of the 2016 version of Soundcheck Expo to show in Mexico its latest releases presented at the NAMM fair in January. Among them are three new hearing aids from the professional area and two digital microphone systems.
"Digital microphones are the evolution of wireless microphones. Conventional analog microphones tend to disappear and North American regulations make distribution increasingly difficult. The new digital microphones have applications for installation, conferences and even in churches," said Juan Tamayo, Audio-Technica's sales engineer for Latin America.
He added that in the region there is still ignorance about digital technology and products. That is why it is important to know the installation techniques of digital microphones and how far the product can go, such as transmission distances and how to solve obstacles.
On the presence of the company in Latin America, Juan Tamayo stressed that the brand is being recognized among artists and new customers who increasingly request it, which is why they had to add a person to the team that serves the region being today four people distributed between the United States, Colombia and Chile, thus achieving a greater capacity for reaction for customers.
And such is the importance that the region has taken for the company, that its CEO, Phil Cajka, was present at Soudncheck Expo 2016.
