Ricoh and Cognitiva will provide artificial intelligence

Mexico. Ricoh Latin America, Inc. and Cognitiva Latinoamérica, IBM Watson Strategic Partner, announced an agreement to provide Solutions and Services related to cognitive computing in the Latin American region.

The alliance between Ricoh and Cognitiva, the company responsible for bringing IBM Watson cognitive computing solutions to Latin America, opens the doors for a collaboration based on synergies that allows us to offer IBM Watson's cognitive solutions or artificial intelligence platform to client companies.  This facilitates the capture and digitization of data, as well as the analysis and processing of it, discovering patterns, opportunities and correlations that were previously impossible to identify. This leads to more accurate predictions and penetration into unknown markets and product and service ideas.

Ricoh, an innovator with 8 decades of history, provides consulting from start to finish and offers solutions for digital transformation, supporting companies with a unified integration of their business lines to improve sustainable productivity and profitability.  It also provides financial resources that enable clients to achieve their goals.   Diego Imperio, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Ricoh Latin America,  said: "Ricoh has a strong coverage network in Latin America and the Caribbean and Cognitiva brings with it a deep understanding of IBM Watson.  The contribution of both will greatly benefit the implementations of this platform that will improve the analysis of information in a scalable way and with commercial applications."

Fernán Gallegos, Manager of Business Transformation and Cognitive Alliances for Latin America, points out: "We are a company that supports our customers and allies in the adoption of disruptive technologies. Cognitive computing is our spearhead to support companies to start their transformation so that they can compete in the future. A future that we thought was several years away, but that is nevertheless closer than everyone believes.
