Latin America. Biamp Systems and Shure announced compatibility between Biamp's Tesira audio processors and software and Shure's Microflex Advance microphone arrays, with Steerable Coverage™ technology.
Following the launch of Biamp's new Tesira software and hardware at the ISE trade show, which will take place in February 2017, you will be able to interact with Shure's MXA910 ceiling array microphone, which can be networked with Dante, and control signal levels within the Tesira software. This will enable system integrators to offer flexible, fully digital audio solutions that meet the complex needs of their customers while reducing installation and configuration time.
"We are very excited to work hand in hand with an industry leader like Shure in an effort to simplify the integration of our products," said Graeme Harrison, executive vice president of marketing for Biamp Systems.
Chad Wiggins, senior director of networked systems at Shure, said: "The interoperability between the MXA910 ceiling array microphone and Tesira processors will allow system integrators to more easily take advantage of the excellent voice capture and airship coverage technology that characterizes these microphones, in a wide variety of meeting room applications."
Tesira's software allows system designers to create complete audiovisual solutions using features such as its intuitive drag-and-drop interface for different software blocks.
