Colombia. An agreement between Clevertouch and Charmex will allow the latter to distribute high-performance multi-touch monitors in Latin America, complementing the work it does with the brand in Spain and Portugal.
The family of interactive LED panels Clevertouch, offers a technological first by incorporating a removable module with the Android operating system, which allows it to work without a computer, like a giant tablet.
Founded more than 10 years ago, Clevertouch has positioned itself as the first company in England in sales of professional multi-touch monitors, and one of the first worldwide thanks to a philosophy aimed at excellence and the capacity for innovation. In 2015, the company won the prestigious AV Award for Best Manufacturer of the Year.
"We are delighted to have reached this agreement to distribute Clevertouch's multi-touch monitors in Latin America. These are completely innovative panels that offer a new concept of what a monitor is, and allow very dynamic collaborative presentations to be made in a very precise way," said Iñigo González, Head of Development in Latin America at Charmex.
In Colombia, where Charmex has an office in Bogotá, the company has already sold a good number of Clevertouch monitors in the education sector, with outstanding facilities at the National University of Medellín, the EAFIT University of Medellín and SENA (National Learning Service).
To expand the brand's reach throughout Latin America, Charmex is beginning to establish relationships with different distributors and integrators in the region. In a first phase, it will focus on achieving agreements in Argentina, Mexico, Panama, Chile and Peru. He will then focus his efforts on Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Uruguay. And finally in Bolivia, Nicaragua, Honduras and Paraguay.
With the aim of introducing this brand and establishing new distribution relationships throughout the region, Charmex will be present for the first time as an exhibitor at the InfoComm Show in Orlando.
