Another novelty of this edition is the realization of the lightroom.lab, an initiative that arises from the joint effort of lightroom.lighting and Expo Lighting America, and which consists of a research laboratory that seeks to identify the triggers of social innovation in lighting in Latin America, with the aim of developing a lighting approach focused on people, that encourages the intelligent and conscious use of technology for the common good. This space is aimed at students, designers, engineers, among others and although it has no cost, it requires an invitation.*

"
Another of the particulars that smart lighting has had is that it has become a much more efficient, quality and environmentally friendly lighting, since according to UNAM specialists, it reduces between 30 and 60% the consumption of electrical energy.
Within the framework of this strategy of technological evolution, "companies have opted for the development of smart devices equipped with connectivity, resulting in the creation of trends of the time, which on this occasion ELA Expo Lighting America will present through the second edition of an issue that emerges as the first editorial proposal in Latin America to offer a periodic perspective on the professional lighting industry; it's about the book Insights &Inspiration," said Mauricio.
