Colombia. The simultaneous translation company, Congress Colombia, received the award for best user of Bosch technologies in the world and "Member of the Year 2016" for Bosch and the Congress Rental Network (CRN), the global network of companies of the highest quality that covers 43 countries on five continents and offers the latest in Bosch equipment technology.
This certification received in Quebec, Canada, is a support for the meetings tourism sector of Medellín, since large international events such as the World Economic Forum for Latin America and the International Congress of Urology, which have been captured for the City thanks to the support of El Bureau de Medellín, require simultaneous translation of the highest quality and that complies with international standards for its realization.
"Attracting this type of international events to Medellín is one of our main objectives since they are the perfect setting to show the world the social and urban transformation that the City has had through the last 20 years and our strength in innovation. For this reason, the fact that our companies are recognized worldwide allows us to compete on the international stages with large cities to host events," said Ana María Gallego, manager of the Medellín Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Congress Colombia also received the "Member of the Year 2013" award, awarded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for its performance as a provider of major events held in 2012 such as the Summit of the Americas, in Cartagena and the UNASUR Summit, in Bogotá. Congress Colombia is an active member of El Bureau de Medellín.
