Mexico. On May 18 and 19, Cedia returned with a new event in Mexico City, called Tech Forum, in which attendees could participate in manufacturer presentations, sales classes, audio and video classes, 4-hour classes to prepare for cedia certification, and a networking event with manufacturers, instructors and colleagues.
This two-day agenda, held at the Krystal Grand Reforma Uno Hotel, had as its central event the presentation of Rich Green, Cedia volunteer since 1991, who had more than 60 attendees listening to his presentation on the future of technology from Silicon Valley.
In his talk, Rich Green argued, among other topics, that the present and future companies are worth for the individuals who make them up, not for the size they have and highlighted the strength that women and young people acquire for the future of companies.
In addition, the importance of returning to the simple, the design of things, the labor ecosystem and loyalty, artificial intelligence, augmented intelligence and the internet of things.
He also talked about technologies and products that the five companies he considers the most powerful in the world are working on: Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google and Microsoft.
