Mexico. Kardia Producciones taught for the second time the introductory course to 3D for the audiovisual industry, which was carried out within the framework of activities of the Expo Tecnomultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2017 from August 9 to 11 in the press room of the WTC in Mexico City.
The course was held with the aim of providing the basic tools of 3D design to professionals in the audiovisual industry who work with video and/or lighting server viewers. The syllabus covers basic topics of 3D so that attendees have the tools that allow them to generate objects to import to different visualizers of their preference and to be able to deliver proposals for video, lighting, automation, among others.
It had a total duration of 15 hours in which attendees had the opportunity to generate objects based on polygons and NURBS, color management, UV maps for textures, texts, ambient and object lighting, work with scales, the corresponding configuration to export to the visualizers, etc. to finally generate renders and animations. In addition to having additional tips for the management of projects in the field, its use as a sales tool and the ease granted by the pre-programming of projects with the possibility of manipulating your own 3D objects.
In the final exercise we worked with the image of a façade with reliefs in lighting, emphasizing reliefs with a play of light and shadow. To conclude, attendees were given a certificate for their valuable participation in the course.
