Argentina. The course of LED Technology for lighting, of 3 months duration and that will be carried out by Nueva Escuela, is intended for young people who want to integrate theory with practice and finish the course designing and installing LED applications. Nowadays there is already talk of smart cities and for this the integration of LED technology is fundamental.
It is a great complement for professionals such as Lighting designers, electricians, interior designers or decorators, glassmakers, set designers, landscapers, publicists, architects, engineers, efficiency and energy saving consultants, etc.
The course will be taught by Adrián Morel, who is a graduate of the UBA, with a master's degree from the UB-ENPC Paris Tech and has 20 years of experience in Silicon Valley companies in California, including president of SavvyLight USA, Vice President of OptiLED USA, General Director of Lighthouse USA and General Manager of Leotek USA.
The course, which starts on October 9, is divided into three modules:
Module 1
Basic principles of LED technology Advantages and Disadvantages, different applications Comparison between incandescent, fluorescent and LEDs Use of different sockets (GU10- GU20, MR16, Edison) Electronic, automotive, naval, space applications. Technical concepts, conversion of English measures into metrics.
Module 2
Light concept, Kelvin grades, Lumen, NITs, etc. Use of LEDs in design, architecture and engineering. Details in furniture, decoration and art. Interior lighting (residential) Kitchen, living room, bathroom, rooms, ceilings, gardens Commercial lighting, stained glass, premises, shopping malls. Offices, restaurants, hotels, theaters, cinemas.
Module 3
Use in schools, municipalities, public buildings. Museums, churches, historical preservation centers. Outdoor lighting, squares, street lighting, digital signage, LED screens, video walls, traffic lights. Integration with other digital Technologies WiFi, home automation, intelligent systems. Use of solar energy or photovoltaic panels with LEDs.
