Yamaki celebrates 30 years in the Colombian AV industry

Colombia. During the last 30 years, with its integration and distribution activities, Yamaki has led far-reaching projects in the Colombian audiovisual industry, which have led it to be one of the most important players in the country.

Oswaldo Rueda, general manager of the company, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that thanks to the implementation of strategic plans, they have maintained a constant growth that accounts for the satisfaction of their customers, being recognized as one of the most reliable, innovative and projection companies of the 21st century.

"In the course of these 30 years, the path traveled has left great teachings of life and work that are transmitted through the senior management of the Company, promoting the personal and economic growth of more than 100 employees and their families. Empowerment, loyalty, honesty, perseverance and responsibility are the most significant values of his human factor and have been a tool to lead him to reach places of recognition and prestige in the audiovisual market, "he said.

Recalling a little the history of the company, the Rueda brothers, both engineers, led the growth of the company together until 2013, the year in which an unfortunate and painful illness culminated Guillermo's life, leaving in the hands of his brother Oswaldo the responsibility of sustaining the family business that for years was in the hands of the two and that he has successfully led to date.

The numbers speak for themselves. Today the company has 150 employees, six stores, four of them in Bogotá, one in Cali and one in Medellín, in addition to two headquarters, an administrative one in Bogotá and a logistics center of more than two thousand square meters in the municipality of Cota, Cundinamarca.

In addition, the company has been featured in important Colombian and regional publications. The economic magazine Dinero, placed it at number 10 in its ranking of the 1000 most winning SMEs in 2017, being the first in the AV sector in Colombia in the ranking. It was also ranked number 6 in the ranking of integrators of the Andean Region of avi Latinoamérica Magazine in 2017.

"Today's companies need integral solutions that optimize all their administrative processes, that allow them to plan better and increase their productivity, which is why Yamaki implements technological solutions tailored to each client. Our success is produced by the ability to adapt to the economic and political changes that affect the market, supporting us in three pillars: alliances with the best brands in each of the segments we represent, concentration of efforts of human talent and loyalty of our customers generating credibility and trust not only to do business but to make friends", Highlighted Oswaldo Rueda.

Finally, he assured that "Always friends! It is the constant slogan to good work, which is reflected in each successful project, in each company that puts its ideas in the hands of Yamaki and that sees this company as an ally, 30 years that are the seal of guarantee, dedication and perseverance, supported by an excellent group of collaborators who are present in each of its processes".
