Colombia. The epicenter of the commercial and academic exhibition of the audio, video, unified communications, digital signage and automation industry, will be developed at the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm fair, which will be held in Hall 3 of Corferias from November 15 to 17.
According to a recent study carried out by AVIXA, an association that represents the professional audiovisual industry, the Americas register an interesting dynamic in this segment, with Colombia being a prominent country with an increase -along with the region- close to 13% between 2012 and 2016.
Thanks to these figures and the success of the country as the epicenter of festivals and artistic shows, including the corporate market, the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm fair is betting for the eighth time on the Colombian market through a space that will exhibit trends, a commercial sample and offer academic talks.
However, Colombia will receive, for the first time, the Control Rooms Summit conference, a theme that aims to integrate and automate efficient operation processes for industrial, air, maritime and land transport, hydrocarbons, telecommunications, defense, government, services and education sectors.
Meanwhile, this fair will present the latest developments in facial recognition, a Digital Signage tool, which allows advertisers greater precision and exposure to their target audience. Other major examples of technology that will be exhibited are the applications of drones, which are usually not referenced by the end user but are used more frequently than imaginable, ranging from entertainment to lifesaving.
"We are sure that this year, with the novelties we bring, we will continue with the growth trend that we have registered year after year, as the industry is advancing and requires technology, experts, academic knowledge and solutions that allow us to prepare for the new times," says Víctor Alarcón, Project Manager of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm.
