Christie presents solutions for control rooms in Bogotá

Colombia. Christie will participate this week in Tecnomultimedia InfoComm Colombia 2017. At its stand 807, and with the support of its partner Videocorp, it will be exhibiting the GS Series of laser phosphor projectors of 1DLP technology, which offers 20,000 hours of lampless operation at low cost.

Specifically, the Christie DWU850-GS model will be exhibited, a projector of 7500 ANSI lumens and WUXGA resolution, ideal for boardrooms, higher education and entertainment environments.

As a novelty, within the framework of the fair will be held for the first time the Control Rooms Summit, a symposium on the design and installation of rooms and control centers with two days of academic congress. And Christie, with more than 30 years of experience manufacturing video walls and processors designed specifically to meet the requirements of the most demanding command and control environments, will have a stellar role in the congress.

Thus, Omar Olivera, Sales Manager of Control Rooms at Christie Mexico, will offer a conference entitled Trends in signal monitoring for Control Centers, where he will give his vision on the display and signal transport technologies that are contemplated in the future for use within the design of control centers. The conference will take place on 15 November at 4.50pm in Hall 3.

In addition, within the framework of the InfoComm Colombia 2017 conference program, Omar will give a specialized training on SDVoE systems, which will take place on November 14 at 3:45 p.m. at the Agora Convention Center - Room A. Attendees will be able to learn what the Alliance and its core technology is all about, and how it benefits designers, programmers, and end users.

Christie is one of the founding partners of the Software Defined Video over Ethernet (SDVoE) Alliance, the consortium created to drive THE standardization of AV over IP. Christie has recently launched the Christie Terra product line comprising an expanding range of transmitters, receivers and control software and hardware with which to design and integrate simple, flexible, highly scalable and affordable systems in line with SDVoE standards.

Christie Terra solutions support 4K video formats up to 60Hz and offer unprecedented capabilities for transporting and processing uncompressed video, with zero-frame and artifact-free latency, on very economical 10G Ethernet components.

"As leaders in image processing and AV-over-IP applications, we are delighted to promote at InfoComm Colombia the advantages of SDVoE systems, which allow us to provide the video with impeccable quality and zero latency, guaranteeing a standardized approach with which to maximize the architecture and performance of the AV-over-IP system in terms of scale, scope and user experience", said Juan Carlos Chavez, Christie's director in Latin America.
