Gain an overview of project management and generally accepted project management knowledge and practices, as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the Project Management Knowledge Guide (or PMBOK® Guide). Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to define a project, define project management, identify project lifecycle components, explain the project stakeholder concept, identify and analyze the nine knowledge areas of project management, explain project lifecycle components, and what happens specifically in each phase.
Beyond pre-wiring: a description of the basics of "signal flow"

You know how to dispose of cables properly, but do you know what happens beyond wiring? Learn about the flow of data in network devices and the physical, electrical, and mechanical characteristics of each type of cable. This class provides an overview of control types, such as Ethernet, IR, RF, and so on. The class uses a teaching approach in which participants participate in one-on-one sessions and learn with their peers in a relaxed, open and welcoming environment for a unique learning experience.
As an instructor will be Lina María Villa, an electronic engineer with a master's degree in sound and music technologies. He has worked in the audiovisual and automation systems industry since 2013. In 2012 he began teaching at a university, teaching courses in electronic engineering and sound engineering.
Since 2013 he teaches training for audio and video systems and certifications for automation systems. He currently serves as Technical Manager in the main distributor of home automation equipment in Colombia. She is the official trainer of the Control4 certification for Latin America since 2015. ECS (Electronic systems certified) and COI (CEDIA Outreach Instructor) certification.
