ISE. As it has been during the last years, Epson closed 2017 with growth in the Projector Market in Latin America, according to the different indicators that the company has in mind to measure the development of the market.
This was assured to AVI LATIONAMÉRICA Juan Campos, director for the Epson region. He stressed that in the previous year it increased by 3% its market share in the sale of projectors in Latam, its market share grew to 64% as far as all types of projectors are concerned and in projectors of high luminosity, exceeding 6 thousand lumens, the market share is 45%.
During the ISE fair, which takes place this week in Amstedam, the company launched an important range of projectors, among which are:
1- EB-L12000Q, laser projector with native 4K of 12 thousand lumens 3LCD, aimed at the corporate market, control rooms, broadcast. It will be available in Latam only until the end of 2018.
2- EB-L20000U, laser projector of 20 thousand lumens with focus on the rental market. It's lighter than the 25,000-lumen Epson projector, making it easier to handle, carry and install. It will be available in Latam only until the end of 2018.
3- EB-L600 SERIES, laser projectors of 4,500 to 6 thousand lumens, mainly intended for the corporate market. It will be available in Latam in mid-2018.
4- EH-LS100, ultra short throw laser projector for home use. It will be available in Latam only until the end of 2018.
5- EV-100 LIGHTSCENE SERIES. This is a new 2,000-lumen WXGA projector focused on digital signage, which will not be available in Latin America until 2019.
Epson also introduced a new line of augmented reality products that will still be available only until 2019 in Latin America.
